Absolute best time at this Lombok surf retreat with Club Shakas! 🏄‍♀️✨ We had the whole resort to ourselves, and the staff were wonderful—they even shared their lunches with us when we got curious about what they were eating! Bek and Anna are amazing facilitators who constantly checked in, made everyone feel included, and perfectly balanced activities with plenty of downtime. Plus, having a massage place right next door was the ultimate bonus. The Club Shakas surf instructors were so much fun and made the whole experience a million times better. My friend came into this super nervous and had never even touched a surfboard before. The coaches made her feel so safe and comfortable; she learned a ton about the ocean and ended up actually catching waves! Such an awesome accomplishment. The whole group of women was incredibly supportive, and while it was a super encouraging environment, everyone’s privacy was totally respected. All the activities were great, but the cooking class was definitely my favorite. If you're thinking about booking, just do it. First time learning to surf, teachers were great and it was a lot of fun in the water. Retreat premises was lovely and relaxing. Friendly and well organised hosts. The chef made tasty and fresh meals, it was so nice to not doing any cooking for 3 days. Everyone on the retreat was lovely and it was great experience. Thank you Club Shakas

This was such a fantastic way to build a community of wonderful, brave and grounded women. I intend to keep in touch with as many of them as possible. Surfing has been a lonely journey for me up until this trip. I finally feel connected to my tribe. Thank you for a wonderful experience that I will never forget.

The week in beautiful Lombok surfing with new friends was amazing. We were matched to competent and funny local coaches who shared their valuable knowledge. The accommodation and meals at Reset were top class and it was a bonus that the whole resort was booked by Club Shakas. The included activities were varied, interesting and cultural and the town was easy & safe to walk around to explore in your down time. Our hosts Jahney & Em were friendly, competent and relatable and kept us informed of plans, changes and activity options. A great week long adventure! Highly recommend.

I had an awesome time on the March 2026 Lombok retreat. The accomodation was gorgeous, food was wonderful, and the girls were all super friendly and laid back. Hosts Jahney and Emily went out of their way to ensure we were safe, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great week. Would recommend!
